IAFPA 2009 Annual Conference
IAFPA's 2009 Annual Conference will be hosted by the Department of Linguistics at the University of Cambridge from Sunday 2nd to Wednesday 5th August. The website www.ling.cam.ac.uk/iafpa/ has been set up to provide information about the conference. Please check this site regularly for the latest information.
IAFPA 2008 Annual Conference
The 2008 IAFPA Annual Conference hosted by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, was an outstanding success. The IAFPA would like to thank all of those who were involved in the organisation of the conference which saw the greatest number of delegates yet.
The student prize for the best student paper was won by Anja Moos with her presentation 'Long-Term Formant Distribution (LTF) based on German spontaneous and read speech'.
The conference programme is still available on the website and it is hoped that most of the presentations will be available to download soon.
